For Children Who Can Swim Independently

Completion of Swim Float Survive or a swim test is required to join any of the following group classes.  If your child is over 4 years and can already independently roll into a back float and rest and breathe, please contact us via email to set up an evaluation.

Fundamentals Jr.

Ages: Walking – 2.5 years old
Classes/Week: 1-2
Class Length: 30

Similar to Fundamentals but with younger children and a smaller class size. The start of class focuses on survival skills and INDEPENDENTLY getting into their back float. Students in this class learn to Swim-Float-Swim with a straight leg kick on the front and a proper float on their back. This class should be at a slower pace and will emphasize the FUN of swim lessons. Students should be introduced to bubble blowing, and staying on the dock, and should focus heavily on proper body positioning and rolling!
